Eric McKenzie joined Lower Lakes Towing in 2011 after having spent over 25 years in the marine industry sailing as a Chief Engineer and holding senior management positions in Engineering, Vessel Operations and Technical Development\Project Management. Eric currently holds a 1st Class Motor and 3rd Class Steam Engineering certificate as well as being a Certified Engineering Technologist. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering, The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers as well as a Member of American Bureau of Shipping. Eric is a graduate of Georgian College in the Marine Engineering Technology Program.
||GERALD (GERRY) J. RAY

Captain Gerry Ray has over 20 years of experience in the Great Lakes maritime industry. Gerry joined Lower Lakes Towing in 2001 as a 2nd Mate. Since becoming Captain in 2008, he has served as Master of several of our vessels including the Ojibway, the Michipicoten, the Saginaw, the Robert S. Pierson, the Mississagi, and, most recently, the Cuyahoga. He is a graduate of Georgian College in Owen Sound, Ontario, where he received a diploma in Marine Navigation Technology, and holds several licenses and certifications specific to the Marine Industry.
